Thailand Pavilion at 2026 IMF – World Bank Group Annual Meetings
transforming a nation’s story into a space where visitors can experience it firsthand.
Designing a Pavilion for an international stage means transforming a nation’s story into a space where visitors can learn, explore, and experience it firsthand.
Index Creative Village created the Thailand Pavilion at the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings under the concept “Thailand: Empowering People, Building Resilience,” bringing three key themes to life through thoughtfully designed spaces and experiences at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
On Level G, the 7 Decades of Building Resilience and Empowering People zone drew inspiration from the royal words of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, highlighting the relationship between forests and water resources and Thailand’s commitment to environmental conservation. The Climate Resilience zone explored environmental sustainability through an Immersive Room, the “Turtle for the Planet” installation by Vichudala, and a Carbon Reduction Display featuring artworks made from reclaimed and upcycled materials. Meanwhile, the Longevity zone presented the concept of living longer and healthier lives through stories of Thailand’s Wellness Industry and innovative food products developed by the next generation.
On Level LG, the Pavilion featured a Performance Stage incorporating Stage Lifting technology to elevate cultural performances by young Thai performers, alongside a Wellness Area inspired by the ocean. The space featured oversized herbal compress installations and traditional Thai massage services provided by expert therapists from Wat Pho.
On Level 1, the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) zone featured a distinctive tuk-tuk as a focal point to showcase PromptPay and Thailand’s capabilities in QR Code payments, highlighting the country’s progress in digital payment infrastructure.
Held from 12–18 October 2026
